Terms of Service

The terms of your review.

Effective October 27, 2026.

What you get

ContractConsult provides a written review of a physician employment contract. We explain pay, benefits, restrictions and other terms to help you understand the offer and prepare questions. Pay comparisons use our own proprietary blend.

We are not a law firm. This is not legal advice, and using ContractConsult does not create an attorney-client relationship. Consult a licensed attorney for legal advice about your contract and the law that applies to it.

During beta

Reviews are free during the private beta. You need an account and a valid promo code to submit. Prices shown elsewhere on the site do not apply to your free beta review.

Our service uses a blend of AI tools and physician input. A physician on our team reviews each report before release. We aim to return it within 24 hours. The service is still being tested, and a difficult contract or technical problem can take longer. Tell us about any signing deadline; do not rely on our turnaround to meet it.

Your account and uploads

Use one account for one person. Keep your credentials safe and contact us if someone else may have access.

Upload only your own contract or one you are authorized to share. Do not upload unlawful material, patient records or information you do not have permission to provide. Remove unnecessary personal details before uploading, while keeping the contract terms readable.

How we use your upload

You keep ownership of your documents. You give us permission to store and process them, including through the service providers described in the Privacy Policy, to produce, check and deliver your review and answer questions about it.

By submitting a contract, you allow us to keep a copy of its text with your name and contact details removed. That copy is stored under a random ID and is not linked to your account. We use it to improve our service. We never publish it in a form that identifies you, and we never use it to train AI models.

Check before you act

We work carefully, and physicians check the work, but reports can contain errors or miss something important. Contract language, compensation comparisons and state law can be incomplete or change. Check the report against your contract and verify important points before signing, negotiating or making a career decision.

Tell us if something looks wrong so we can review it. We cannot promise a particular salary, negotiation result or legal outcome.

Limits of responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for lost earnings, missed opportunities or other indirect losses resulting from your use of the report. This does not limit responsibility for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence or anything the law does not let us exclude. Nothing here takes away rights you have under applicable law.

Stopping use or closing an account

You can stop using the service at any time. Email [email protected] to request account closure or deletion of your information. The Privacy Policy explains how deletion works.

We may suspend or close an account used without authorization, for unlawful uploads or to disrupt the service.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will show an effective date and notify you of material changes before they take effect.
