How we handle your contract.

ContractConsult is small and physician-led. Your trust is the foundation of the business.

Your contract is one of the most sensitive documents in your career. We treat it that way: a small team, private storage, never sold, and deletion whenever you ask.

What we collect
  • Your contract documentA PDF we can read the text of. We don’t need a clean copy — redacted is fine, and preferred.
  • Basic contextSpecialty, employment type, state, and intended start date. Used for benchmarking and analysis.
  • Your account emailFor sign-in and report delivery. Payment processing is handled by a third-party provider.
  • Nothing else.No SSN, no DOB, no NPI, no employer outreach. If a contract has identifying numbers you don’t want to share, redact before upload. We don’t need them.
Who sees your contract
  • Our review teamEvery report is checked by our team before it ships. The reviewer is named in your delivery email.
  • The founder, for QAFor QA and pipeline issues only.
  • No one else.Not your employer, your recruiter, an attorney, an insurer, a marketing partner, an investor, or an AI training set.
How AI is used

AI does the first-pass extraction — clause boundaries, headings, defined terms, structured findings — and drafts and checks the report. A physician reviews and corrects it before it ships.

Your contract is never sold, and never shared outside the review. AI does the boring extraction; a physician does the judgment. That’s why turnaround is within twenty-four hours, sometimes within minutes if the contract is uncomplicated.

Your contract and reports stay with us until you ask us to delete them, or you close your account.

Deletion on request

Email us and we’ll take care of it. We keep a record that a report was delivered, and any notes from the review, so its history stays intact.

Aggregate learning

We may track anonymized structural patterns across contracts to improve the analysis. Never with your data attached.

What this is not
  • Not legal advice. We’re not a law firm. Final legal opinions belong to your attorney.
  • Not attorney-reviewed. Don’t imply otherwise to anyone, including a healthcare attorney consulting you.
  • Not a health data service. We don’t see PHI; the contracts we read are HR documents, not medical ones. HIPAA does not apply.
  • Not anonymous to your employer. Your employer would only know if you tell them. They never hear from us.
Most common questions
Can I redact my contract before uploading?
Yes. Black out names, NPI, ID numbers, the employer’s entity, anything that identifies you. We don’t need any of it for the analysis.
Will my contract be used to train an AI model?
AI does the extraction and drafts the report; a physician reviews it before it ships. Your contract is never sold, and never shared outside that review.
Can I delete my account & data?
Yes — email [email protected] and we’ll take care of it. We keep a record that a report was delivered, and any notes from the review, so its history stays intact.
